Last seen in 2017, we are pleased to announce that the Winsford 10k is back up and running on October 27th. A joint collaboration between Compass Minerals and Rock Salt Running, this route is expected to be as popular as ever.
This is a multi-terrain race which takes full advantage of the pretty trails, paths and lanes of Winsford and Whitegate Way, then through the historic grounds of Vale Royal Abbey before the final leg down the beautiful River Weaver and back to the Salt Mine.
Chip Timing and race vest will be provided for all 10k runners as well as free parking on site. There is a prize pot of 50 pounds for the winner and 30 pounds for runner up. The race entry is capped at 500 runners, so be sure to enter quickly before it sells out.
The race takes place on October 27th at 10.30am from Compass Minerals.
A donation of £1.00 will be made to St Luke’s hospice for every entry.
Entry is £18.00 and £16.00 for UKA members with an additional £2.00 for on the day entries with refreshments for all finishers. Entrants must be a minimum of 16 years of age on race day.

Entry fees are none refundable. Should we be forced to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances then we will endeavour to refund fees less administrative costs within 30 days.
